Whoa, but I wouldn't kill myself if I couldn't play video games. I have a crapload of other stuff to keep me occupied, art and stuff. But dude that's sick to kill yourself over a god-dang video game.

Hahaha, wow.

Serves that little idiot right. He ****ed up in school and got his games taken away. He wanted to kill himself over losing them (for what, only one marking period?), then that's his damn problem.

Pffft! NO ORDINARY HUMAN BEING, ESPECIALLY A CHILD DESERVES TO DIE.

Wow, what a *slang word for a donkey* you are. Now if we were talkin' Osama killing himself, that'd be okay. BUT A CHILD? Yep, you've tested positive for being a *slang word for a donkey* headslap.gif X100000000000

Well, children anyways. But I guess my argument is a piece of crap compared to what you just said.

That kid probably would be living out on the streets and eating raw meat out of the maggot-infested trash-can when he grew up anyways.

Yeah, and you can take your logic right the hell back to elementary school where it belongs.

The point is:
-He did poorly in school.

-Instead of acting like a little ***** over it and promising his parents he'd do better, then I'd have more sympathy for him.

-The fact that he's a human being is completely irrelevant. Stupidity is the same today as it was yesterday and it will stay that way well into tomorrow.

And while you're at it, next time if you're going to call someone an ass "X100000000000" for believing differently, your post should, for starters, make some ****ing sense.

There was quite possibly something wrong with this kid in the first place that the parents really should have picked up before. I doubt he'd just kill himself over video games out of the blue. There's a difference between playing video games occasionally as a way of procrastination and AN OBSESSION, one of which the parents should have been able to see and do something about.

QUOTE (DUMBASS)
According to Director of Centre for Legal Psychological Assistance
Mikhail Vinogradov, children who are banned from using their computers could easily
resort to suicide, since they do not realise the consequences of taking the extreme
step.

I luaghed at this, manly because when I was little, I got banned from the computer for
litterally for years at a time, and I didn't commit suicide did I?

Damn psychologists, they are just people that get paid to tell you that you have a
problem. I feel bad for the kid, he must have had mental issues sad.gif

Jack thompson is totally gonna be all over this.

I'm sure he's jacking off to it as we speak..

As for the report itself, I'm speechless, even though he was just a kid and not to speak ill of the dead, there must have been some very bad wiring in that poor kid's head to even contemplate suicide over this.

There could've been more to it too, in fact, it might even be for a comepletely opposite
reason. The kid could've commited suicide because he could never talk to his freinds
ever again, or that he couldn't finish the ultimate game project, ect.

Although, the kid probobly only had friends on the internet and only thought about game
design, because what kid in thier right mind would kill themselves over a computer?

Wow, I just contradicted myself ...

To be honest, I can't even see what would push this kid that far over the edge and commit suicide over losing computer/game access, etc. If he were 12 or 13, I would probably understand a little better because by then children are more rebellious, distancing themselves from their parents, going through emotional hell, etc. I still wouldn't have shed a tear for a suicide then, but at least you know there are other factors involved.

Besides, most 10-year-olds cry, shut up, and then go outside to play when their parents cop their games, so why the hell this kid is is even contemplating suicide at his age is just baffling. I honestly think his parents did the right thing by confiscating them. All throughout grade school, I can't even recall a damn thing I did to get my games confiscated and yet, my parents would confiscate them for at least seven or eight months at a time. You learn to find other things to do when you're not plaing.

Still you really have no right to scoff at his death. Suicide or not, death is worst thing ever, and could come to anyone, anytime.

I'm not scoffing at his death or the fact that he died. That's just hideous.

My irritation is more with the reasoning behind it.

I miss things like this, so I always put my opinion in last, and therefore someone already has my opinion.

But to me, the kid's a retard. That's all there is to it. Suicide just because you can't play a ****ing computer game is the stupidest thing ever.

It's a game. It's only a game. It should not be your Holy Book, or Holy Whatever. This is like committing suicide just because they didn't have your favorite shoes for sale at the local mall.

This only furthers my point at the rapidly dropping intelligence of the entire world as a whole.

Right now, I think we've reached the point in our lives where we're starting to go BACKWARDS. We got smarter, we invent something, and now we're getting dumber.

Agree? Disagree?

He thought he had an extra life?

OK, that wasn't the most politically correct comment to be made, but I can't bring myself to feel sorry for this kid. He overreacted by leaps and bounds (pun intended) over something that in the grand scheme of things is so miniscule and unimportant.
