There's some points you should get:
-Everyone's alternative coustume. -New Metroid Stage. -Charging up Special Attacks (Sakurai said we could) -Try to remember every yet-not-revealed Item, Assist Trophy and Pokémon you see. -Keep in mind every taunt the characters do. Mainly because i bet Link's manly taunt from Melee is not coming back again, for example. -Final Smash for everyone that still don't got their revealed. That involves Ike, Peach and Meta Knight. Also Snake if possible. -Try to remember the most important aspects of gameplay, such as gravity and delay of the attacks, and if they changed much since Melee. -Use the new characters widely, so you can see how they jump, glide, attack, grab and taunt.
I think that's the basics. After that you'll be tired of seeing too much Brawl (can someone get tired of that game?!?!), so go on Mario Galaxy anyway.
Also don't forget to take your DS so you can downlaod demos and enter competitions.

This is rather long-winded, so be warned... When you get to play Brawl, try out the Crawling technique that Wario, Zero Suit Samus, and Snake displayed in the second trailer on any characters. Also, try any of the new techniques listed on the Dojo, such as holding (not tapping repeatedly) the attack button for consecutive standard attacks. And try to see if the walljumping from Melee is still there, considering if there are any stages with walls. Also, we need a full run down on the Classic Controller controls (and Nunchuk, if you decide to bring that along as well). You see, Sakurai recently revealed the full Wii Remote control scheme: But there are four types of control in all: And all we know of the Nunchuk and Classic Controller (and GameCube Controller, but it will probably be the same as in Melee) compared to the Wii Remote are the following: Standard Attack: Strong Attack: Smash Attack: And since we saw the pause menu's control scheme for the GameCube Controller: ...I wonder how it controls on the other controllers. Knowing the full details on one control scheme is nice, but it would be nice to hear those on two more (the GameCube one will probably be the same). Also, there's no indication on the Dojo that Single Button Mode is coming back (it was in Special Melee, but it doesn't appear in the Special Brawl menu). Can you try to check if it's still there? And finally, when the time comes for you to play, try to cancel all of the menu screens to get to the title screen. If you get there, read the copyright to find the true name of "the Studio" (as Sakurai calls it) once and for all. I'm not asking you to search for Nintendo or HAL Laboratories, I'm just saying there could be something that could stick out from there. It may seem like a lot, but I'm really interested in this stuff I'm suggesting. PS: And Jazz, you forgot Zero Suit Samus' Down B/1 (depending on what we know of the controllers so far).
