Not a major update here or anything, just posting a screen of what little I have finished of World 1's castle:

I want to keep at least some standardization for the castles, so most of them will probably include a variation of this same graphics set. The only castle-specific enemies I have programmed so far are the ones you can see in this screen: Dry Bones and Firebar. This level will also feature Podoboos, which I plan to give more accurate physics than in the previous two installments (which saw them using regular up-and-down path movement with no mind for gravity). Thwomps may or may not appear in this level (though they'll definitely appear in later fortresses).

I really love Super Mario Epic 3 and think it is awesome! I'm glad you started up on it again. Please never can this game again. This is my favorite of the Epic series.

or if he really feels like replacing the score with text blitter, he could use right$("00000000" + str$(score("Player 1")), 8) which should work just as well

Can you not switch to MMF2, Captain Jeff Silvers? I've played the demo and realised you're using paralaxes on MMF1... is this not a MAJOR drag?
