Super Mario Theta, 10/21: Demo Up

It should now.

Now that is nice right there. But I dont know what too do next.
But all n' all, Its sweeeet.

So I walked a bit around in the castle, not much to do other than entering two doors and going to the mysterious castle court.
But what is there so far is nice, I say.
Nice visuals, especially the cutscenes. Well done.

EDIT: where's the Theta Level Showcase? Or do you mean the screenshots?

Yeah it's not much, just a engine demo but I'm glad you liked it.

The "showcase" is just the castle. I just wanted to see what people felt about a castle completely true to Super Mario 64.

Few updates

- The game is not dead, in fact it's made more progress in the past month then ever.
- The April Fool's was fake, but all new footage was real. (If you can find it)
- New media should be coming soon in the next few weeks!
- The game is still scheduled for release in 2008.
- Another trailer will be coming somewhere down the road...
- The game is now in a resolution of 320 x 200 rather then 250 x 200. (It was just too hard to see oncoming platforms)

What Mario sprites are you using? They're pretty good, other than the way he walks. :/

I really like this game. The graphics are sweet. I like the SPP style stuff, and I'm a fan of Super Mario Sunshine, so you can only imagine how happy I was to see the piantas and SMS level. The idea of restoring colors is unique, I like it. I really want to see how this turns out. It looks amazing. Oh, and Mario Gamer, whats the game's progress?

It's progressed quite nicely - however, currently nothing's been done programming-wise due to a busy schedule and stuff happening in my life.


But not to worry, this will be resolved soon.

Anyway, this one is a bit more visual so I hope you enjoy that. Look for it to be updated every two weeks with a new image. Also, I promise there will be a lot more then a trailer at NCFC this year.
