An Ign Writer Considers Gta:sa The Best Game Ever.

What are your thoughts on it? It certainly looks interesting.

Well i've been playing it for the last 3 days and it's pretty damn awesome. It's not just some engine revamp like vice city was. And it's HUGE. Plus you get an extreme sense of speed now.

My brother rented it last night. I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet, but it looks badass.

My friend buys these games the day they come out, so I'll just borrow it from him when he's done with it.

I like the setting for this one more than the others.

Heck, I'd be playing it now if I had a PS2. And the PC version is coming out what, next summer or something. It's going to be a painfull wait.

According to them, it's bigger than any RPG, has a better story than any adventure game, and has more minigames than Mario Party. You know, completely disregarding the fact that most all of them deal with driving around and being a thug. There's variety for you. 8D

The game will be really fun, no doubt. But there is no way in hell that the game is better than SMB3.

Being 13, I'd sure as hell like to play it, but I doubt my parents would buy it. Actually they would, but the guy might go all "Sir, this is for people 17 and older"

well, I WOULD know what its like. I only waited AN HOUR IN THE F***ING COLD AT 8 IN THE NIGHT just to get it, and my PS2 DOES NOT WORK!

I wonder How much Rockstar payed them to say it?

Have any of you ever thought maybe, just maybe the game is about MORE than just being a criminal? GTA's plot isn't that simple, although it is largely based around being an outlaw.

I think the setting for this game is GREAT. It's about a gangster named carl johnson who moved to liberty city and has come back after hearing word of his mothers death. After a little run in with some currupt cops (samuel L jackson being one of the voices ^_^) he is framed for a murder and is stuck in Los Santos (just one of the HUGE cities of San Andreas) and decides to stay on his own free will. His old time gang The Orange Grove Family used to be the toughest guys on the street but now they are crap. They only have territory in one neighborhood. After a few events, CJ decided to revive the Orange Grove Family and take over all of Los Santos.

Pretty awesome story so far if ya ask me and i've read it takes over 60+ hours to complete it all. I'm at a part where i was taken to a small little town in the huge country area of san andreas.

There are SOOO many things that have been added to this game that it's insane. Graphical effects like blurring of the screen to give a HUGE sense of speed..speaking of speed the cars are friggin fast!

You can take the cars to specialized shops and get them "pimped out", you can even throw in a couple canisters of nitros for those crazy cop chases.

You can recruit up to 3 gang members to be by your side.

There is an RPG like stat building system in which stats start raising the more you do certain things in the game, such as shooting a certain type of weapon (later on as it levels up you can dual wield!) driving level, stamina, etc.. There are TONS of different little stats.

There's even bycicles you can grab now. And those things can HAUL ASS if you tap the X button really fast.

I recently unlocked turf wars in which the map becomes shades of different gang colors, yours being green. You can goto a rival gangs territory and start shooting up some of their members and the screen says "Gang war started", then you and your posse can start fighting off waves of the rival gang. After the 3rd wave of members is defeated you gain that territory as your own. It generates money at your main hideout.

Please. The nutritional information on a box of Count Chocula is more engaging. :P

I haven't even played it but I highly doubt it's the best game ever... so yes, I agree with Greliz.
