They're almost exactly the same, besides the pallette change.

THEY'RE THE SAME.

I heard the DS has no texture filtering, which would cause those 2D sprites to look more 2D. However, in that screenshot, which I find interesting because of the different shade of color of the greens(Most likely because it's something like Yoshi's first visit, I could of sworn they were less green even in the video, perhaps they changed it though), you can see a Chainchomp, which used to be just teeth and a 2D ball.
