If you don't understand, there are a lot of tutorials on the main site, and you can always head back to Clickteam. Their support forum is pretty decent.

How would you know? You would have had to do either one or the other.

Anyway, if you're really serious about making games, go ahead and buy MMF (MMF 1.5, if you can). If not, download the trial verison of TGF, then upgrade. But seriously, once you're used to MMF, you'll never want to go back.

Unless you happen to be using MMF 1.2...

Because I started out with TGF and getting used to MMF was hell.

Their setups are completely different. It's much easier on a person to start and stay with one or the other.

Same here. It took a little doing to figure out some stuff, but it eventually worked out fine for me as well.

It only takes a few days to get used to MMF's interface anyway, and then it's really no harder to use. It's just a stylistic preference. After using it for so long I'm alienated by TGF's interface. --------------------
