You could get a similar effect with 7, maybe 8 colours.

And it could use some contrast. Lots of similar browns there.

Speed up the animation hes walking too slow :3
its an okay Sheet but i think more sprites would be cool
nice style by the way

heres something you SHOULD add
-Jump
-Getting Squished
-Wing Goomba = ParaGoomba

There doesn't need to be. Just add more contrast in the colors so that your pallette isn't unnecessarily huge.
