So most of you probably don't know this film or ever heard of it since it wasn't a huge release. I'm pretty sure I've stated it before but, George Clooney is one of my favorite actors and when I heard his new movie got amazing reviews I had to see it. So, I did.
Michael Clayton is a "fixer". He fixes problems for his law firm, as we see in the beginning of the film. After visited with a client about a hit and run, he drives into the woods only to find three horses standing on a hill top. He gets out of his car and approaches the horses, staring them in the face. He takes a breath when suddenly his car bursts into flames in the road behind him...
And this is what starts Michael Clayton, the best thriller I have seen this year. George Clooney gives a spectacular performance as a smart, slick, scared man on the run. The story is complex but it never loses it's interest. Throughout the whole movie I was thinking or possible reasons for this or that to happen. I enjoyed everyone's acting and they were all convincing for the characters they portrayed. The script (Written by the same guy as the Bourne Identity series) is amazing and basically flawless. I cannot recommend a better thriller out right now. See it while you can.
It gets a perfect score of five.
