I did this in my free-time, so it is bound to be sloppy. I liked the overall feel of it
though, it turned out fairly complex to. It doesn't really make any sense, but that's
the beauty of it. I hope you enjoy it.

The age of myths and legends …

What I would give to live there now …
Dragons, thieves, dwarfs …
Peasants pulling a plow …
Oh what I would give to see Dragons …
Knights pulling cannons through the drizzling wharfs …

… The age of myths and legends …

To see thy olden castles …
To speak in eldest tongue …
To see wizards in woven tassels …
To fight along side thy king …
To see rule breakers hung!

Thy age of myths and legends!

Stories upon stories told from winter-woven time,
The sky turned upon a dime,
And in that very moment,
Beast of gears and gold,
Took upon our – Hold it!
I shall tell the story from the beginning,
The story of old.

The story of myths and legends.

In a break of wine,
A flick of time,
God sat upon his throne,
Upon iron-clad earth,
Staring upon wind and bone,
He had a special thought,
He was angered beyond worth.

Before the story of myth and legends.

Pulling out his flaming sword,
He muttered but one word,
“I damn thou and thine memory!”
For you see,
He wanted to be remembered happily,
People hated him,
And they cast him from their memory.

And so he created the age of Myth and Legends.

He held the blade high,
While angels flew by,
And it fell.

It fell and flew,
Breaking the world in two,
Seeing the sky fall,
People’s sanity fell into the wall.
Their dignity no longer stood tall,
Their hearts cut in two.

Chaos reigned,
People were being hanged,
For what they believed in,
And so their faith fell akin,
And they hated him.

And so began the age of Myth and Legends,
never to be told again.

I like the ending, it just kind of cuts off, and makes you wonder ... could we be living
in this age now? It really made me think, and it was also just part of me being lazy tongue.gif
