I was banned (for 2 weeks for one filter bypass )

Context is everything.

If it was something along the lines of an island country of child molesters and serial killers about to be slammed by a tidal wave, "Totally rad" would've been a more appropriate response.

But no, in this case, it was a tasteless attempt at being funny and she was rightly kicked in the face for it. She should know better than that.

But then again it's Backins and she gets banned for the same **** at least twice a week and three times on Sunday, what the hell am I talking about

Just my opinion but i think PPP should have some better rules, as it is now it's like mfgg is a zoo.

Klobber unbanned him because his perma was unjust in the first place (they wouldn't let him back in out of spite). That's why Trasher got annoyed.

More of internet drama and this was between several members if I recall, so yeah.

Meh I'm not so sure. Probably a good thing in some ways since people will finally shut their traps about how all the mods suck, but at this stage it sorta looks like people were bumped up to admin status a little too quickly from being made mods.

Jas for example - no offense to her, she's earned the right to be a PPP mod and she's been around longer than I have, but at the same time she's only been a PPP mod for a few months (and I know for a fact PPP mods don't really do much since I'm one). Yoshiman's been around since the dawn of time so I suppose it's not such a leap but personally I think the global mods should have been the first choices to fill the admin position, not the new kids on the admin block. It's like walking into a job as a call operator and then being bumped up straight away to the board of directors - seems a bit nuts. Yeah I'm aware this happened to ShadowMan as well but from the sounds of things people weren't too happy with that at first either.

No doubt they'll do a decent job but I'm a bit worried about inexperience - every admin/mod that's had abuse thrown at them has usually got this because they're still learning... unless they're generally evil. Again sorry if I offend but I'd be a bit surprised if I got admin'd overnight as well.

April fools isn't such a big deal and i'm pretty sure Jas will pick it up as quick as anyone else did. Better to be inexperienced than acting like a friggin' lawyer.

Basically I just didn't think all of the mods were really on the same page which caused some fighting amongst ourselves and disorganization with bans. Unbanning Delmore for instance, caused a lot of arguing, then RII stepped down as an admin. There's been other decisions in the past where we kind of argued about stuff more than we really decided on anything, though this one was probably the worst.

It didn't feel like we were working together as a team and RII leaving was sort of the final straw that made me think something should be done about it. I guess we'll find out if it was the right decision or not.

Yeah, I thought his being banned still was pretty unfair. He made it more complicated with some stuff he did like vandalizing the wiki but I thought that he'd been banned for so long by this point that it was enough time served.

I'm happy with every last detail.

The PPP could even use a temporary closing yes, and thank you about the RII server thing. That was my biggest concern. I was afraid he wouldnt be around to help in case we needed internal help.

And I do have confidence in Yoshidude and jas. I know they're capable.
