I think TD may have been a little quick on the trigger by offering a free promotion to anyone that asked, but time will tell. To be honest the inexperience may actually be a bonus - it was seriously time for some new blood, fresh ideas. With the exception of Kommandant, who is also new, the global mods have been fairly quiet in recent history - Jeff in particular is far less active than he once was.

That can be forgiven I guess because he has a full time job, and I know how hard it is to squeeze in time for things like this.

I think so too, but I suppose it had to be done what with Klobber being the only "true" admin at that point. Before I made Jas and Yoshiman admins, I offered for them to wait a few days before deciding if they were really up to the position or not, but after thinking about it for a few minutes, they decided they wanted the job now. I am pleased with these choices, however, as I have talked to those two in the past moreso than anybody else currently on the forum staff. Jeff also volunteered for an admin position, and I think he would have done well... however, as stated, he isn't nearly as active as he once was.


On another note, to those of you at the U: All of the events documented here happened on November 13th, not the 14th, regardless of when this topic was made. Also, it was I who made Jas admin, not Klobber. Might want to fix up your wiki. ;P

It was actually both.
It started on the 13th and spilled into the 14th.

I don't know what to say, i'm not a poster at mfgg but i lurk every day, and i find it weird that this has happened so fast. I don't think Rii should quit because of this mod war. And delmore deserves to be unbanned, he was in a tough situation and didn't know what to do at that time, he was kinda disorientated. But starting to become angry just of that, kinda childish i think.

Depends on the time zone i guess.

Wow. Congrats to you two for becoming admins, and I can understand your situation RII.

On the other hand, even though I can see why people would demod Trasher (The name change thing was uncalled for, in my opinion), Joey was getting better about the whole cross-fourm banning thing.
