Yeah, lately I've been considering taking this thing in deep, but I need someone who guides and points forward for me first. If anybody's interested, just AIM/MSN/PM me! smile.gif

I know most everything about Katakana and Hiragana, and how the words are structured. Self taught too. soveryhappy.gif
But the Kanji is beyond me.

I can read the rest, but I can't translate it.

Self taught too. soveryhappy.gif

there's a reason people shake their heads and sigh at self-taught people and this is particularly true for languages

all i remember is you have to order your sentence "Bob apple ate" and not "Bob ate the apple" and if you stick ka on the end it becomes a question, but there's two KINDS of questions and you have to use the right one and one is desu.

What do you mean, self-taught is fine.
Well yeah I used wikipedia to study all the kana but that's beside the point.

But he's asking for people who are fluent.
Fluent means that you speak it well.
And your description doesn't really match "fluent".

You probably won't be able to find anyone like that around here.

But I can read the basic texts.

I took two years of japanese.
Fluent? Oh **** you. Haha. I got trouble understanding the most simple sentences!

Well, making them atleast!

Te, plain, desmas oh and Iru/Eru. That's about the little I know. I can't take on kanjis really. I know some easy ones like Senpai

If you really want to learn Japanese, assume anyone who wants to help you is a weeaboo that doesn't know what they're talking about, until proven otherwise.

After you've realized there isn't anyone on the Internet like that, take a class.

But seriously, I can read most everything Katakana and Hiragana.
And only several kanji, that stuff is way beyond me.

Chances are there are no fluent Japanese peeps here at MFGG... and that's because it's an English site.

Japanese isn't hard, really. And its really fun learning it. Make an effort and you'll be speaking allright japanese in less than three years.

Edit: Infact, just one year and half and determination... you'll be suprised!

I use this site to learn Japanese
http://buna.yorku.ca/japanese/eljp/ejlecnotes.html
Basically this college teacher video taped his Japanese 1 class for a year and put the videos and work sheets up on this site.
But since its just Jap1 then you'll just learn the basics
