what happened to spiral mountain?

I won't have time to finish it, much more interested in this one. Plus it's actually harder to make it a playable, enjoyable CP map or any other map with a purpose out of Spiral Mountain.

I think it's Mario's black outline. I could personally see it working if the game has all the character sprites like that but I also felt like coming up with a quick hoax to to see what it'd be like to have him more like the background.

I hope you don't mind a wonky mspaint edit, Stix

Really? I think it's better without it. It seems to blend more smoothly to me.

Agreed, blending in with the background makes it hard to find. And the non-outlined one looks sorta sloppy.

Things that aren't in motion might blend in a bit too much, especially if the camera scrolls fast.

I can easily see him still blending in the the background easily if he was. It makes the sprite look better anyways with it, and it makes him stand out more with it.
