i realized that some of the stuff in courage the cowardly dog was probably actually meant to be amusing and/or funny >_>;

Same for me but actually back then it was funny for me but gave me nightmares, especcially that shadow one. But I had a nightmare of kirby 64 when I wwas young, so, it was probably pretty easy to scare me.

It was really scary. I was sleeping on the couch and I was looking at the wall, and just saw a crazy evil version of the final boss.
I was also scared of those things that turned evil when you looked away.
