Boss spoilers, I guess. But it woulda been JAWESOME

Nintendo was probably thinking one of two things:

A. Too many new character faces and they didn't want to spoil the surprises
B. The art was just way too awesome to include as a box art

Because Nintendo is freaking stupid.
I still don't know if I'll get SMG.

It's got it's fair share of games worth buying, but that's beyond the point. The game kicks ass, end of story.

I can wait for SSBB.

But yeah, I think it wasn't used due to too much spoiling.

if Nintendo made a SMG movie, that totally should be the poster.

Probably because it's a bit too chaotic, not enough room for a large logo without covering up stuff, and not enough focus on Mario.

the current cover demonstrates the game mechanic a bit more, although i still like that image with all the bosses
