When Should I Finally Give In And Get A Wii?

It's been more than ONE YEAR since the Wii came out, and I'm officially going crazy about not owning one.
I held out on not buying a Gamecube - that I could cope with.
But I CANNOT stand being TWO generations behind the rest of the world.

So now, it's all a matter of timing. And for better or worse, I'm asking the fine folks of the CCC.

When you DO decide to buy one, you're better off purchasing it online because it's been a year since the release and it's still pretty damn impossible to find a Wii in stores.

At least with an online purchase, you're guaranteed one as soon as they're available.

Are there any places online that don't have them in those ridiculous bundles?

Just come to our city, they've always been available in-store since the day they were released.

And get some cheap Canadian drugs while you're at it.

I don't think there aren't any. In which case, you'd have to select the games you want with your Wii. I know for a fact Wal-Mart does this.

What better way to play Super Mario Galaxy than while tripping ass?

Took me almost forever to get a Wii, most mainly because of lack of funds.
So yeah, save your money first, then go after one.

i was lucky getting one, only 2 in stock and had been put on sell for like 15 minutes
yeah, just call your local stores everyday 'til you get lucky

I say Wait until Super Smash Bros Brawl comes out.

There are lots of awesome things on the Wii that you are completely missing out on

Get it now, there are plenty of great games for it right now. The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Sonic and the Secret Rings, Super Mario Galaxy, Metal Slug Anthology, Wario Ware: Smooth Moves, Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicals, etc. I hate how everyone says "OMG WAYT 4 BRAWLLL". Brawl isn't the only thing on the Wii, you know. Just because it has a **** load of fan service doesn't make it a good game. I'm more excited for Mario Kart Wii, actually.

Uh, a better "no" answer would be that once Brawl comes out, you're not going to find a Wii. At all.

@Thunder: Also, that last thing you said is completely different from your reactions whenever new characters are revealed for Brawl.
