Look at the image in my sig. This rEVOLution thing is an idea I had months ago. I think the emotional impapct of seeing "LOVE" written backwards in "REVOLUTION" is quite striking.

My friend saw my desktop today (which contains a logo similar to the one in my sig) and asked me why I supported presidential candidate Ron Paul. I actually had to consult Google for this one. It turns out he has very a similar idea in his ad campaign.

And no, I don't think he actually stole the idea from me. I'm just mad that one of my ideas will be misconstrued as political.

This is the first time that I've actually read about him. I don't know any of his politics other than that he is a Republican Congressman from Texas. I guess his idea of 'revolution' is the love of liberty... which doesn't make sense to me.

Ron Paul is a libertarian. He wants the government mostly disbanded and used only for law enforcement and the legal system. He's running as a Republican because he realizes he would get nowhere if he was an independent.

I believe he's looking at a big 2% in the polls taken so far.
