Fraxy needs more love! For those of you who don't know what Fraxy is and are too lazy to go check the free games topic, Fraxy can be found here. Along with every boss being completely user-made, you can add your own .mp3 soundtrack, provided the files have no spaces in their filename and are under 6 MB. The Invader Zim theme makes it extremely epic. You can even customize what weapons your ship has, as well as the font used, laser color, and more. For those of you who already know, get to posting. :0

Download links are optional, but would be nice.

*MINI TUTORIAL ON HOW TO USE THE EDITOR
*When you save it, you have to maintain .fed at the end, or else it becomes a nondescript file.
*Once a ship is downloaded, you just have to put the .fed files in the Enemy folder, go to Select and choose the enemy from the list.
*That's because by default, the editor snaps pieces to degree increments of 30. It's possible to turn it off, but you might be slightly less accurate.
*RIGHT CLICK = BOOST
*Brick pieces act like Legos, and fuse seamlessly with other pieces.
*Rotating Panels can spin all the time, but you have to select one of the last four actions in the Move Action list thing. The difference between the four actions is simply speed and direction.
*The field where it says "New Enemy" is the name field.
*As for music, .mp3s go in the bgm folder. However, they will only work if their name contains no spaces and the file is under 6 MB. Be sure to check Config to make sure it is set to play music.
*Weapon color can be changed by opening config, going to Draw2, and then selecting Change from the list.
*Missile Cores fly off and explode after missing the player.
*Appear Check and Destroy Check in the editor do not actually affect the ship.
*The Aperture Science Weighted Companion Cube will not threaten to stab you, and in fact, cannot speak. However, in rare cases, it may shoot lasers at you.
*If you change an action for a piece, it won't take effect until you Reset.
*Filename =/= Ship Name
*511 part limit on ships. Not like you should ever really need that much, though...

My first ship. Wields a laser on each arm and power ball launchers on its body, which is heavily plated on both sides. Its rear is equipped with a powerful rocket engine/flamethrower combination.

Ok I'm done with my boss, how do I test him out in battle? I can't find a place to load .fed files.

Oop, sorry, I was in class. D;

As you probably already figured out, the two dials on the tool thingy control angle and relative position. In order to test your boss, you can hit the Play button on the left toolbar to see it move, but to fight it, you just have to run Fraxy --> Free Play --> Select --> choose your boss

The editor is simple once you get it, really. Parts are arranged by relative position to their parent piece. The panel on the left shows you the parts tree. Add Parts obviously creates a piece for you to work with as a child of the currently selected part. If no part is selected, nothing is created. Del Parts obviously deletes the currently selected piece. Careful, though, as it will delete all the child pieces as well. Appear Check is used in conjunction with the Appear list to demonstrate how the ship will matterialize when it appears. Experiment with it to find the one you like best. Destroy Chk gives an example of what the piece would look like when destroyed. Note that it does not actually delete the piece. Copy and Paste should be fairly obvious, and keep in mind child parts are copied as well. Paste (turn) pastes the piece, but mirrors its angle and appearance.

Now, Parts is obviously a list of the available parts to choose from. The first part must be a Core, which are labeled by a C. Other pieces include Weapons (marked A for Attack), Armor (marked D for Defense), Joints (marked with a J, can move about in various ways), and Bricks (marked B, kinda like Legos). Draw order is self explanitory, really, and offers five levels. However, weapon-fire will always appear above all parts. Show Flag is a recently new feature. Normal is the default, and has no special properties. Shadow means the part is visible, but faint and transparent, and impervious to damage. Shadow Cores will automatically selfdestruct if no real part is anchoring them to the real world. Hidden takes Shadow a step further and makes the piece completely invisible. When invisible parts are destroyed, the do not explode visually. Movement is very simple. Play means the part will go, Stop means the part is inert, but still can be damaged. Turn Flag is to turn on or off mirroring of the piece. Durability is obviously the piece's health. However, setting the health to -1 will make the piece impervious to damage. Parts Angle is the angle the piece is facing, and can be controlled by the left dial. BP Angle is the relative position of the piece to the parent. Center Distance is the distance from the piece to the center of rotation. It's not use much. BP Dist is the distance from the piece to the parent. Mov Frame controls the frame at which the part starts at, as well as what programming it follows. You can use the Info button to check out the coding for selected pieces. Setting it to a negative number delays the activation of the part until it reaches 0. Att Frame is the same, but for when the part attacks. Experiment to see what each movement does.

I should also mention that when a piece is destroyed, it does damage to the parent piece equal to its original durability, sometimes a little less.

By the way, the Fraxy Wiki has some awesome bosses.

Sometimes I want to position certain parts in certain areas but the editor won't let me! So I never made anything because it wouldn't let me make Sinistar.
