Mario Monkey Madness, DEMO AVAILABLE!

Hello. I'm Donut, known as TJ the Kid on the main site. For nearly two years ago, I wanted to make a game called Mario Monkey Madness, where the Mushroom Kingdom was invaded by a herd of apes. I did just show some mockups, and did'nt make anything more of the game. The years flied, and I was getting more better at Game Maker. I wanted to bring back life to the project again, but there's alot of changes now. Gameplay has been changed. Story has been changed, but not the whole plot: Mario and his friends gets invaded by Monkeys, but not in Mushroom Kingdom, now on Yoshi's Island. There is'nt much up yet, but to show that the game really is in production, I putted up a trailer, and a gameplay-movie. You can find the links under.

Story:
Wario has found out that a treasure lies deep in a cave on Yoshi's Island. He starts searching and finds it quick. The treasure is a golden, shiny statue of a monkey. Wario picks it up, and some monkey comes angry after him. He runs outside the cave. A Shy-Guy walks friendly towards Wario. The statue shoots a sparkle from it's eyes and transforms the Shy-Guy to a Monkey. Meanwhile, Mario and Princess Peach is arriving the Island on a small trip, to see how the life is going to the Yoshi's, suddenly, the Yoshi Village gets invaded by a herd of monkeys. Mario, Peach, and the Yoshis gets trapped inside a warp pipe. They warps to the Yoshi Cave, where they have placed all their fruit. Princess Peach asks Mario to find out what's going on up there, and stop it.

The reason that this projects is paused is: My own PC is broken, and it takes a while before I can get back my files. I will start on the project again when I get the file, and maybe launch a demo.

Ahh i saw the monkey kong a while back, very good but it did look very easy.

Yeah, but it is only a mini-boss ^^

I did.

2 glitches:

Can't go back down the vine after climbing up into the next room.
If you run into the first barrel straight after the first cut scene the game slows down, weird stuff happens, and then mario has no health but can still continue.

FINISH THIS GAME SO I CAN RUIN MY LIFE!

This game is quite good, I like how the goombas can jump.
