You can talk about your religion, it's history, culture, and what YOU believe. But don't, ever, preach it to the message board or attempt to get others to believe it. That's the turning point where the whole topic goes downhill. Everyone else has explained their religion or viewpoint on this topic, without trying to convert others or influence them to join. Don't you guys do it either.

Donno. I'm hoping for that "do whatever you wanna" thing since that means I can go to alternate dimensions and mess around until I die and the same thing happens all over again
But the thing is, do you think it's possible to store genetic code within what we define as souls? That way, we'd be able to store billions of memories theoretically by just moving into another body, since it's theorized that by the age of 85 or so, we only use 3% of our brain capacity. That means that we'd still be ourselves, even after death


Also I think that leaving something to be remembered by is kinda weird. Still cool, but you wouldn't be there to appreciate it, so it sucks

It is part of my religion that people either go to heaven, or die eternally, never waking up ... so, yeah

Personally, that sounds like it would make a lot more sense than being tortured eternally by someone (ie, the devil) who should be destroyed by god.

actually these thoughts make me go on a long tangent about thinking how the hell we couldn't think or do anything before we were born, and yet we did now, and bada-bing, mind goes blank over the vast infiniteness of thought

I mean, it doesn't make any sense, what would we do? Then again though, we are not be able to comprehend it as beings that actually live.

I do not believe in an afterlife, simple as that.

Also, IMHO, an "afterlife" Is an excuse not to live the only life you have to it's fullest.
