TMNT Engine is a project that I, Jason Orme, have been working on since 2006 to recreate Konami's 1989 Classic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Arcade game from scratch using ripped graphics and coded in Multimedia Fusion 2.

Its been over a year since the last TMNT Engine was released. I'm not going to lie, the project was dropped and little work has been done on this current version.
But I've decided after popular demand to continue with the project. This release is the current state of the TMNT Engine (level 2 not included), and if the feedback is positive then the project will continue.

This looks very promising.

Hey, just wondering, is it OK to change the graphics?

Like, if someone wanted to make, say a Double Dragon game instead of a TMNT game?

This engine is looking terrific. I see this is the same type of engine for one of my favorites (over T.M.N.T., with all due respect -- and that is -- "The Simpsons"! smile.gif).

No problem. Obviously, I know for sure that if someone did an "engine" based on The Simpsons (arcade version from Konami), the energy meter would obviously be different (considering that the TMNT arcade game used bars for each player's energy meter).

Hmmmm methinks I should check this out sometime.

Btw, have you seen Clwe's brawler engine, Jason? I heard his was tricky to work around, so what advantages does yours present? It's looking really good so far.

The 4 player simpsons version has a bar for each character like TMNT.

Is that brawler engine the one that uses Amy from Sonic? If so I have looked at it but it is abit tricky to use. Mine isn't exactly user friendly but then again its only made for myself at its current stage.

Awesome game. If I may ask one quick question, is it just MMF games suck at fullscreen drawing, or just my onboard graphics? But I am seriuosyl looking forward to the future releases of this game.

I can run it in Fullscreen with no problems.

MMF2 is getting hardware acceleration soon though.
