By creating a mysterious jewel called the Dark Emerald, he hoped to leave the guarding to the item, so he could have free time of his own. Unfortunately the Emerald contains errors. yeah i personally don't like the black eyewhites. Black eyewhites don't even look all that cool, they just look really creepy (see: Lopunny)
