Yeah, that old minigame I did for the Edutainment topic.
Looking back, it was a pretty cool idea, so I've decided to pick it up off the ground and spit-shine it.
So I'm going to add more levels (from Super Mario Bros) and the powerups, make it really really kinda cool.
I'll also try to make it easier and add other bonus extras and cool stuff (like slowing everything down, gaining brief control of Mario for a little bit of traditional platforming, and even a super-fast warp speed). I'll even refine the camera crush system so you won't get crushed against the sides of objects right away, but the camera will keep going.
But with the upgrades, I'd like some opinions.
In the game I've been using MP3s for the music loops. If I keep them, you get only one music, and that's the Pheonix Wright "Cornered Variation" or the Super Mario World "Overworld 1" theme.
Or you can get MIDI music, and there'll be more tracks. So vote between that.
Also, should I space the objects a bit more than the original levels, or leave them as they were?
Here's the original minigame to help you decide.
Anyway, I'll continue this project because I personally think it's kind of a cool idea.
Original concept to say the least.
