MFGG Melty Blood Netplay Tournament

(Before you ask, the Len VS Len replay is a joke match Shade and Quicky saved the replay of after their match. Couldn't help but include it!)



Well, I got the idea for such an event a while ago. I asked a few people here who play MB (Which is actually more than you probably think) and I really think we'll be able to get a good small tournament going.

So, if you're interested just start signing up. I'll get a bracket set up once we get enough people in. If you want to pick your character (Changeable at any time in the tournament, even between fights) before the first fight, that's fine too!

Matches will take place in a best two out of three format.

All matches will be saved in replays for upload later.

Just as a question, this is the right place for something like this, right?

we seriously need a tourney like this for kof98 or super turbo sometime, i'd be glad to help organize and referee for one of those games

i'll probably hop in but i'll need to find a character i like first, i honestly haven't practiced this game a bit aside from the few matches we played together draku

which game is melty blood anyway? i need to play these damn games. :[

Melty Blood has an external Netplay client called mbcaster.

And what do you mean by which game? If you mean the current MB revision, then Melty Blood: Act Cadenza is the latest revision.

i still know next to nothing about playing MB and hisui/satsuki/red arc are all looking to be probable options, but i guess i might as well just take my chances in the interest of "uniqueness" so to speak and go with satsuki

The first battle was downright embarrassing, though I did slightly better on the second.

So anyways now we just need Uber and SuYo to do their fight.

Too bad for you, I plan to release all the replays in a ZIP once this is all over.
