I love this engine, but I have some questions:

How do you insert music into a level you found, without replacing another music?

And how do you get Message Blocks and warps to work?

I insert the code, make a message and when I test the game, the P-Switch I inserted activates and the Message block only says "0".

You can edit obj_musicplayer to add more music.

Press control+right click on one of those objects, choose creation code, then add/edit the code. The example levels use these features, so you could look at it too.

Cool, thanks but I have now another problem:

How do you block the path to a new level? I've found the block but when I beat that level, I'm still blocked off.

You must go to room "rmMapScreen", choose object "obj_blockedpath", and do like this : http://img511.imageshack.us/my.php?image=helpmfggrl8.png

The blue object which's on the image is "obj_blockedpath" :if you haven't got finished the level, you can't pass through. But if you finished the level, the object will be destroyed and it isn't blocked.

EDIT:

When I go to my own created room, my second level, the screen stretches, so it can see all of the level, but it squashes all the sprites, I dunno how to fix it. sad.gif Please help a newbie. sad.gif

It is invisible. The image was not taken while the game was playing : it 's directly taken from the room.

Hello, please fix the mushroom problem.

On Hello's fortress, I get a mushroom, it lands on the platform, the platform is going up but the mushroom sinks through it.

You fix it yourself. Hello should ONLY fix bugs if they are Major enough to Crash the Game or make the Physics not work.

I'm probably never gonna use this engine.

But people who will probably won't know, and then they'll get shouted at for nt fixing it. They may not even know how.

I have a general idea, but probably couldn't put it into action.
