Mmac For Gba: Two Announced Release Dates

Earlier, this game was announced to come out in January. Yesterday, I found out that Gamestop claims that it will be released in December 28, 2004. However, I also found out just now that Nintendo of America says that it will be released on November 9, 2004. So how long do we have to wait? Six more days, or 55 more days?

For those in the dark, Mega Man Anniversary Collection for Game Boy Advance is completely different from the ones for Gamecube and Playstation 2. This version of the game has the five Mega Man Game Boy games as the main focus. These games introduced characters like Enker, Quint, Tango, and more. The last two Game Boy MM games also have a shop of some sort, which was incorperated into Mega Man 7, Mega Man 8, and Mega Man & Bass. In this analogy game, you can not only play the five games in their original grayscale colors, but also in full color! Also, there's a hidden sixth game in there, although it's not known which one it is (some say it's Mega Man Soccer, some say it's a completely new game, I personally hope it's Wily Tower from Mega Man: The Wily Wars).

I heard it was delayed 'til January.

Yeah, seriously. I mean, if the games were already made, how long would a stupid port take?

I wouldn't care if it was port perfect. But for pete's sake, they left the original MMAC to some low down company and expected them to come out with the game. The final product, while fun, has many glitches and problems, including slow down, the button reversal issue on GC, and bad music loops. I always wanted all of the Megaman games, and so has so many other people, and when they just realize this dream, why did they have to cut corners?

They actually remade the game instaid of doing what every other company does and slapping the rom into an emulator and releasing it. They are doing the same for this game most likely, as well as making the option to have NES style colors which is probably taking time, they weren't colored before you know, though 5 had a slight coloring, Super Game Boy coloring, which isn't too good compared to NES and GBC style coloring, which is what they are giving the ports. There's also the possibly mystery 6th game.

This game was supposed to be out on September 31st. Why must they keep pushing the date ahead, is it to torture me so? I feel like a fat kid chasing a hanging sausage on a treadmill.
