MMBN3 Navi Customizer help, Get in here if you're any good at puzzle

So yeah I'm gonna go kick Drillman's ass but first I need to set up some programs. Basically I have a 5x5 grid in which I have room to place pieces that power me up. But here's the cache: Two same-colored types cannot touch. Also textured pieces must NOT go through the middle line, and un-textured pieces have to be in the middle.

Alrighty, here's the pieces I have:

Super Armor:




HP+100:
(Note: There are two of them, one of them is yellow.



Sneak Run:



HP+200:



Under Shot:



All can be rotated, so rotations are not the problem. The problem is is that physically I have enough empty space available for the last piece, but no matter what I try I end up being unable to place a certain piece, depenind on what I put in last. And it pisses me off.

Well I tried, and like many combos, I think it's impossible to do without invoking harmful errors.

If I were you I'd just leave out one of the 100 hp pieces, you won't need it anywho.

Problems: Both Sneak Run and Super Armor don't go through the center, and the 2 pink HP+ parts go through the center when they shouldn't.

Nice try, though.

But I have nothing else to place there, and I HATE leaving lots of empty space! Plus I love my HP! With all those I had over a thousand! D:


Either way I'm debating just giving up and saying "byebye" to one of those pieces. :[

Are they all size reduced?

I haven't played this game in a while, but can't you just put them there anyway, and just have a buggy Mega-man?
I mean, seriously, just live with it.
Save before talking to the girl with Drill-man, and if you get a bad bug, reset, if you get a good bug, don't.

I could prepare you a flow chart if you need visual aid.

If he's going for shadow style, using a bug once will screw him over... So.

Especially against drill man, he's a joke.

However, health DOES matter when you DO get hit.

Drillman is not a joke. He's like the hardest god damn boss in the whole game.

And of course I need to beat him to further explore Undernet 7.

Yes I have to agree, Drillman's not a joke, unless I missed something.

You get like half a second to attack him and he covers the screen in DRILLS

Drillman is the easiest boss in the game.

Desertman is the only challenge(Next to secretnet)

Dodging, Reflect/(the counter move)/Shield.

But how do you KILL the beast?!

You get many many chances to hit him and HE SITS STILL. Drillman however, you only get ONE clear shot at him and for the rest of the match he's throwing drills at you or invisible! Or both!



Either way I already beat him after much trouble just to find that there was nothing of interest behind his cube and I already had the Hammer and was wasting time.


On the bright side, I managed to get my Bug Style to level 2 and now have BugStop. :D

trust me buddy to get hit against the first form of any boss in battle network besides bass you have to really suck

Anyway, awesome that you beat him, but too bad it was as useful as a regular battle.
