Hardly, he's been squashed, had pixels removed, shrunk, had entire parts of his body moved forward/backward, and had entire rows of pixels taken away.

I'm guessing either it's some really messed up stereotype, he tried to redraw a SMB2J (hence the Japan) Mario instead of ripping them, or he was playing some eyesore SMB hack called "Japan Mario"

Those are all probably wrong though.

One word: Funtastic. This game is
sooo underated it's hard to believe.
I would have thrown Yoshi into this
and a hammer, but that's about it.
Brilliant voice acting, wonderful
graphics that make you think of cheese,
and best of all it's 100% free.

Now you may be thinking "No! This
is the most horrible craptastic game
I've ever seen! That yoshi
voice can give you brain
damage!". Well that is what most
seem to think. But I have a more
controversial review, for I truly
believe this is one of the finest
games out there.

Pros: Brilliant emmy-award winning voice acting by Yoshi. You would think that Yoshi is right behind you telling you what to do!! It's hilariously bad and good at the same time. Yes, some of the backgrounds look like Connie the Cow...but you can't have everything now can you? Two player mode is very innovative and especially when you have the sacred pink one to play as.

Cons: Was far too short. And Goombario is weird. But if you're like me, once you hear that yoshi voice acting you won't even care.

Gameplay
Wonderful gameplay! The magic hat
idea that shoots fireballs was
very original and cool. There
are no slowdowns or glitches
either, it is executed perfectly
and very fun to do. Jumping, shooting
fireballs almost everything you'd
want in a mario game....err..
but how come these little goombas
don't go squoosh when I jump on them?
And why cannot the kirby (who was
named after a vacuum cleaner
by Shigeru Miyamoto) suck up
enemies like his name states? It seems
that in this game Mario and Kirby
have forgotten how to do many of
the things they used to do. But
it's still very innovative. VERY. 8/10
Graphics
TOP NOTCH. Who says the graphics
look like crap? They couldn't
have been better. They are
vibrant and colorful (for
the most part). Bowser looks
just like Paper Mario Bowser, Mario
looks just like Paper Mario Mario
(except when he's in his glorious
airplane) and the white backgrounds...
are bland and poor, but let's just
pretend it's Connie the Cow again,
shall we? I'm a big mario fan don't
get me wrong, and I've seen far
worse graphics in fan games. Play Goomba's Revenge you'll
laugh your yoshi boots off at
how bad it is.

Sound
Well the sound is all burrowed
from other fan games and it's overdone.
Almost every game maker or games
factory game you download will
have this music in it. Not bad
music though, very nice as
a matter of fact. It sounds like
an orchestra. 10/10
Replay Value

You will love to laugh at this
hilarious game again and again
and again. It's just about as fun
as it is hilarious though, so sure
I'd do it again (once or twice).
And the yoshi voice acting
will make you keep coming back for more.
Would have been cool if it had a secret
Moogle world though where Mario can
buy pet deku scrubs......
don't you think???

Overall:
Awesome game!!! Am glad not all fan
games are like this though but this
is too overated. It has a charm
to it..ya know? Very nice! Two thumbs
up.
