I'm currently working on a small game where I take my favourate parts of Super Mario Galaxy and create my own 2D versions. At the moment I have completed the first level and have started building the second one.
Not much of a story or reason has been put into the game but at the moment I'm trying out all the things I can do.
The first level is 'Bad egg galaxy'
The gameplay of the first level is basicly flying around in space
You must destroy the MiniDoomShips
Bosses? YES! The first boss is good ol' Kaliente. His attack patterns are pretty much the same, fire balls... coconuts... The general stuffThe second level will be HoneyHive Galaxy.
Bee mario in 2D? Yep! Float around from platform to platform, Attack is to groundpound.... But I havn't figured out what The level will have in it yet.I'm slowly working on the game, unfortunatly I've come across many glitches that are unfixable to my ability. But the glitches are excusable, minor problems.
The other levels I'm not sure about, If anything I'd like each level to have a different control scheme
I shall make a demo for the first 2 control schemes (Flying and Bee Mario) After I've finished level 2
