Style of Artwork, Need ideas

Group: Members Posts: 1062 Member No.: 4011 Joined: 25-June 07 Status: (0d)	don't a bunch of people sit down and make tons of concept art before they even think about making the game? shouldn't we be doing that? like, before we "decide" (I'm using we not because I'll be doing anything for sure, but just to sound nice and all inclusive) on a style of art for the game, shouldn't we try drawing some stuff first. I mean, we're trying to at least sort of model a real game production process right?

But I think before we even start any concept art, we still need to assign roles. Which is, of course, completely irrelevant to how accessible everybody's sketch art is, since the only difference is now you have to post them in this topic instead of filing them to your manager.

The Yoshi's Island and Mario & Luigi concept art used watercolors like my first one (though not as rushed)

I made a poster for the Wario Bros. portion of the story. It's a Mario and Luigi style sort of poster. I may color it with Photoshop, but if I could watercolor it, that'd be sweet.
