Be warned, the engine is a little sloppy. Well, okay, it's very sloppy. But it looks nice! :B

Why not? An engine test may not be a full game, but if you're going to release it you might as well make it at least slightly eye pleasing.

Updated. I made it so that the enemies attack you and they die when they run out of health.

EDIT: Oh and everyone stop arguing about the Koopas. I like them. If you don't, change them yourself when you get your hands on the source. ;p

I found a glitch. You can't hammer while an enemy is near you.

Kind of defeats the purpose of it, don't you think?

You can hammer when an enemy is near you, just not TOO near you. I'll get to fixing that.

That COMPLETELY defeats the purpose of a hammer.

Also, mind making an object that has no purpose other then to host comments on how some of the the things work? I'm trying to mess around with it but I don't quite understand what events are doing what.

I mean an object that instead of being full of useful events, has comments that talk about the main components of the engine. Basically tell us what's happening in each object's events, mainly Mario's.
