A Vampire koopa (Drakoopa). It constantly warps around the place to surprise you and drain your blood (or HP). Every once in a while it divides into a swarm of bats, that fly around aimlessly trying to hurt you. Harming the boss would be quite generic (jump on top of its head, hit with projectiles etc...).

Other wordly cratures like enemies from other games might be fun too. Like Dracula from Sotn. I have some of the sprites.

I think a vampire boo or goomba would be cool.

And theres nothing wrong with a few returning bosses, as long as the fights are not boring, and there are plenty of new bosses.

Tatanga would be sweet and semi-original. You don't really see him in many fangames.

Then again, SML was the only 2D Mario game I've ever owned, so I could be biased on the issue.

We could use the Koopalings, not actually fighting them, but fighting them in like, in giant mech suits (not the ones from Yoshi's Safari) or something. So it would be both original AND classic.

We should throw in some completely new enemies that match the world (as said before), but also throw in the classics (Goomba, Koopa, etc.) where they fit. You gotta have the classics. We could even do what Sunshine did. Give new incarnations to some old enemies. (Boo and Wiggler come to mind in particular.)


And you know we have to have at least one dynamic boss (aka fight it on moving platform on ground/sky/somewhere). Those are always epic~


Edit: Idea~ Could we somehow fit some Wario's Woods enemies (little guys, not bosses) in here somewhere? Those guys need some more love, even if it's just in the Wario side.

For Bosses:
- David Blane: He flies around shooting stuff at you. It takes place when coming out of the Subway in New York during midnight.

- The Russian: From the Punisher, he just beats you up and kind of acts like a Klubba from DKC2.

- The Three Musty Fears: They'd appear... I couldn't describe it. If you've played Super Ghouls N' Ghosts, and looked how the ghosts appear is level two, that's how they'd appear. Mario would fall into a dark area, completely black, then the three ghosts would appear. They'd move in a circular motion, maybe throwing stuff at you...

- The Admins of MFGG: It would be epic.

- Gargantua Blargg: A lava room with the SMW "O" Bowser bridge. Lava would be on the bottom, and the creature would appear from it after Mario walks forward.

- Death: From Demon's Crest, when you buy the Death scroll, that would be the sprite for it. The scroll would be on the ground, and appear like the Imp scroll, the character/letter thing would fly up, and the Death sprite would appear. The hands would have eyes, and the hands would move like the Megaman X final boss, Sigma. Don't know how'd you defeat it, though...


Enemies:
Shadow Ninja Mario: It would be a dark shaded SMB3 Mario with somewhat red eyes. The enemy walks slowly toward Mario, jumping over pits and jumping small walls (nothing super human). When it attacks, it stops and crouches, shooting three fireballs in a rapid fire fashion. After it shoots those three fireballs, it starts movement again.

Stationary Paranha: A huge paranha (About 2.5 tiles SMW Mario high in length) and spits fireballs at you like the Firetrap, and spits those spike ball things like Wild Ptooies. Throw stuff at it to defeat. It would have the classic color, red with white dots.

Well, for the bosses, I'm gonna say PLEASE NO ENLARGED ENEMIES! I get annoyed when the creators of Mario games get lazy and use "Giant Goomba" Or "Uber Squid" and even "Macho Magikoopa". Sure the bosses can be big, but not just a large variation of a smaller, normal enemy.
And some differen't boss types. Like in Kirby's adventure, the last boss was a side-scrolling shooter-ish thing. Maybe we can have something like that? Or in SPM,

Big Bomb omb-If you don't stay your distance from big bomb-omb ge will throw you at the walls of the course (Which are spikes). He throws bomb-ombs. You have to wait until the bomb-omb lands on the ground and jump on it. Then you can pick it up, and throw it at big bomb-omb.

Donkey Kong-Its like the original Donkey Kong game, you have to get to the top of the building while avoiding barrles and other traps. Then you jump on donkeys head abunch (like usual) as he throws punches and barrels)

Metal Mario-A metalic statue of mario comes to life. I know people hate bosses where you just jump on there head, but this boss is a jump battle.

Koopa the Quick-Race to the flagpole against old koopa the quick. You can get items like blue shells (first player is stunned for 3 seconds), bannanas, lghtning bolts (other player is smaller, which makes them slower), and fake Item blocks (when you hit it with your head, it damages you, it has an upside down ?).
He could be a returning boss. Also two player mode could be the race, but with Mario, Luigi, Wario, and Waluigi.

An enormous Buzzy Beetle/living tank/mammoth creature completely invulnerable to attacks. You must let it chase you until the creature tires down and leaves to its food bowl to regain strengh. You must arrive before the monster and drop a Bob-omb on it's food, so he swallows it. The explosion won't kill the Beetle, but will leave its soft body briefly exposed

I like these ideas here.

Bosses? It's what I specialize in! No video game is complete without bosses!

Superoomba- A Goomba that can fly with a Superman costume.
Stealth Snifit- A Snifit that habgs from the ceiling with the aid of a Grappling Hook.
Play-A baby Boo that throws his blocks at you.
Time- A TT(Diddy Kong Racing) hat fires his hands at you, can change your speed, and can freeze projectiles in mid-air.
(Fight Play and Time together)
Retro-bot- A Robotic 8-bit Mario, with flamethrower hands.
Cap'N Gutbuster- A pirate that resembles Flavio that has a sword and crates of TNT.
Cabin Bro'- This Hammer Brother is angry at you for defeating Gutbuster. He traps you under his boat and turns it on, trying to suck you into the propellers. He also throws hammers.
Princess Froggy- Prince Froggy'a sister. Swings her tongue(With a Spike ball at the end) like a pendulum.
Koopa Smarts- A brainy koopa that creates education based symbols which effect Mario the way they effect words or numbers or maps.
Mt. Livelava- A volcano with a face. You start out inside of him, then he starts to errupt, and you need to put out his core.
Thomas Sparkison- A sparky that creates electric surges.
Starmen against being used for Invinciblity(SABUFI): A group of stars than do not want Mario to use them for Invinciblity.
Magiartist- A magikoopa with a paintbrush. Everything he draws comes to life!!!
Game Over- A being that is so huge and evil looking he cannot be described. Final boss.

The bosses should have a big role in the story so people like time and "Game Over" is ruing the story. But I like the idea fighting the kooplings in a giant mech suit.

I have an enemy idea! It's called the Kiz.

It's a small pink sphere with little arms and legs that pops its head out of the ground, until Mario walks too close, then it hides in its hole. In order to defeat it, you must shoot a fireball at it. After it dies, either a 1-up or an exploding fireball that chases you pops out of the hole. It's quite a rare enemy, and what you get is a matter of luck.
