MikeL's crash course in HTML linking and image . ingfor images, use this
<img src="http://archive.mfgg.net/html/emoticons/cool2.gif" />
Of course, you'd replace the URL to the emoticon (cool2.gif) with the url to the image you want.
As for links, you'll want to use this:
<a href="http://www.google.ca">This is a link to google!</a>
Here's what it looks like:
This is a link to google!as you can see, the text in the middle is the
label for the link, and the actual url is contained within quotes.
You can, of course, change either of those.
Now, for an image inside of a link, all you need to do is use an image code instead of a label for the link, like so:
<a href="http://www.google.ca"><img src="http://archive.mfgg.net/html/emoticons/cool2.gif" /></a>
And this is what it looks like:
