What? So wait thats it?, No more fun?

It's gone? No more PPP? No more FORUM Games? We can't have fun now? Just because we're not CCC is no reason to restrict our fun.

Yeah, I'm calling BS on this decision. Loud. I was a little off on the PPP since it's not that hard to mod, just people making up excuses not to do the job right and worrying about public opinion. As for the forum games, what? What spam? what BS spam? I saw none. All I saw were the new members trying to get a feel for how things should be done.

But oh don't worry! It's still here.... where? The CCC? You mean the forum where not even half of us can access anymore? Yeah, some solution. Just to make a wise crack at some of you, but Most of those members aren't exactly the funniest or best bunch. Might as well make an extra section in the Vault where people can still post or bring back the PPP. I can understand wanting to make us hold back our fun (actually no I can't) but I do believe there are some of us here who would like to have even a sliver of fun here as well. and don't tell me to just post it in the GC. Since 03' the GC has always been about being serious. It won't change. We can't post a game in the GC and expect it to get any kind of fun replies or such because of how we have come accustomed to how we should act in here. Oh, and telling us to start another board, another page, or whatever aren't the best choices either. It's not the same atmosphere. In here you get the people you want as they basically click all the topics. You know these people. You start a new forum and GOOD LUCK. Only a handful of people here probably even BOTHER to click links to another forum and so on. It's more of a pain to recruit as well. We LIKE this community. We only DISLIKE some choices made by site staff mods, and other such technical problems. It would be kind of hard to move an ENTIRE forum of members or to convince them that they should brows both boards.

and CCCing anything not fun doesn't help us either. Stop treating it like the PPP. It's a RESTRICTED forum now. I see PLENTY of RP's and such by OTHER members that AREN'T CCC started, were fun, and now CAN'T continue that just because of some little accident. either the staff learns to take the GC WAY less lightly or just change this forum to the "Intense discussion board". Cheep cheep, slap, ect. Learn that this place is the internet, there are plenty of goof balls. When it's gets to the point of the ones that are being rejected by EVERYONE then just do your job. Not that hard to make sure those stay out and we keep the good. Same reason why I though the PPP was A-OK.

I'm allowed in the CCC, and you know what? Though I actually agree with Uber n00ber.

To be honest, though I enjoy the CCC from time to time, my biggest worry was and still is the fact than a lot of members who do deserve to be there aren't allowed in, because they lost their cool one day at some annoying newbie or something they did 2 and a half months ago.

Personally, I feel and have felt that it would make more sense to hand out PPP temp bans more often.

I don't agree with the fact that Uber came and made a GC rant, but I think he makes some valid points.

You know what, forget that last line. I think someone had to say it, and Uber did, so yeah.

The CCC was made so less people could screw it up and so we only let in the nicer and non-warned people in. And it's a godsend.

If you want in, I suggest not being warned so frequently. You're capabale of that, right?

I mean, CCC is not exactly a worldwide extravaganza. Waiting a whole 3 months (1/4 of a year!) is ridiculous.

I'm not putting the blame on Apple Quesadilla specificaly nor saying he did anything but, BUT...

I need people to stop being afraid to do said such thing just because you might think it's a little too far. Rants and whatever should be all fine and dandy. The mods and stuff just do their job and clean up the bad ones and such or whatever. Shouldn't be afraid either to post less serious things. thats #1 thing that needs to change in the GC in this new so called... "GOLDEN ERA"

Yeah, I do agree with you.

It is somewhat ridiculous, since it can be unfair for new members that join here to be kept from all the excitement and such.

Also I feel this will be locked soon.

I edited my post to mark that out before you made this one, just to clear that up. After a second look at your first post I changed my mind.

And in fact, this stigma keeps me from saying things I would normally try not to say, and end up getting warned. So in the end, it all works to everyone's benefit to keep from getting warned.

I hate to double post, but I think it's important to NOT lock this topic. I think this issue needs to be discussed further before that lock button is hit.

This is where my sigh comes in.


Uber, you've basically just summed up all the negative posts brought up in the stickied CCC topic into one big speech. Almost each of your points have already been addressed in the topic, so I highly advise reading up on that.


Meanwhile, this thing has been discussed to death, both in the stickied topic, and on random topics people made in the past about the CCC.



Also, we were doing quite fine here. No one has been complaining about the CCC for a while now, even the ones that don't have access that were complaining before. It was nice, relaxed, and had no e-drama arise. Why'd you have to ruin our mood and make this topic?


So, uh, read up on the sticky topic, and then PM me your issues. If they need to be public, I'll make them public, because I do agree on communication there.
