If you are getting errors:due to external resources, put the file in
-This Post- into the same folder as oldsmb.exe and run oldsmb again. It should fix it. Else extract the zip as the readme said.

I finally got it done! In 2007 yet too! I present to you: OLD Super Mario Bros. Update 8.
This needed a new topic. Really. The old one was getting old, big, and... full of old glitch reports and complaints probably turning anyone with a decent brain away.
So here's a new topic and update.
DownloadDownload from Yoyogames (Currently stalled due to uploading bug)
Download from 64 digitsA readme is included in both downloads.
All you really have to do is read the readme and you'll be fine...
So. What's so big about this update?
How about SMAS Grapphics and Audio?
Or a settings menu?
Or updated physics?
Or why don't you look in the readme?
Other InformationI didn't get everything 16 bit. Here are some things I know aren't 16-bit.
-Fire-charge animation
-Flagpoles
-Block coins
-Brick pieces
-Lava
-Some parts of Bowser's Castle
-Bowser
-Saving text
-Some pipes
-Game over screen
-Enemy death coins
-A bunch about sound fx
There's probably more I forgot about... just tell me if you found it.
World 3 is not included because I didn't get blooper and the fishes all the way in. And non of it was 16 bit anyways.
This may be the last demo for a while. I have Games in Depth and the MFGG Community Project the work on, and I started a new project
here.
Have fun!
