Hopes for any other sonic chracter being playable?

I think tails and knuckles might be.

At least tails. I know people would complain, but all I want to see is Sonic & Tails vs. Mario & Luigi

I doubt it, personally. It'd be nice, but the non Nintendo characters are already stretching it somewhat, I doubt they'd put six/nine characters from foreign franchises as playable characters, given that that'd be three SONIC characters, and would end up being unfair to the Metal Gear franchise as a third party if it was only Snake.

To tell you the truth, if anything Tails could only be an assist trophy. I'd like to see him playable, but I don't think it possible.

Knuckles would be sweet.

I think if they put a third third-party character in, it would be from a different franchise, Megaman for example. And it's kinda 99.99 % sure that there will be a Green Hill battling stage and Tails Assist Trophy. It's just so friggin' sure. If there is not a Green Hill battling stage or a Tails Assist Trophy, I will strangle Snake forever for being in Brawl.

Tails=assist, he flies on the tornado (which you can jump on) and throws rings.
Knuckles=playable
Amy=assist
Eggman=Boss
Shadow and Silver=No represnetation at all

Knuckles= Assist or nothing
Amy= Most likely nothing.
Eggman= 99.99 % likely a boss.
Shadow and Silver= True.

Look at it this way: I HATED SONIC BEING CONFIRMED FOR BRAWL. SONIC IS A PIECE OF CRAP CARTOON HEDGEHOG TRYING TO BE COOL. I HATE HIM AND NOTHING WILL EVER CHANGE THAT. DO YOU SEE ME *****ING ABOUT HIM IN EVERY BRAWL TOPIC? NO. SO STOP. WHINING.

Tails should be in too, I think, because Sonic and Tails are like Mario and Luigi.

Geno mustn't replace Sonic and Mallow mustn't replace Snake, they both should be ADDED instead.

With that quantity of Playable Characters in Marioo & Sonic, and don't doubt at least Tails, Knuckles and Shadow/Amy can be playable. And much more than Eggman as bosses.

Nope. Doubt it. If he is playable, he's secret, and we must wait till the release to confirm him being playable. Otherwise, Assist Trophy or nothing.

This is still a Nintendo game. Mario & Sonic was a crossover between Mario and Sonic. Smash Bros is a crossover between all of Nintendo, and Sonic makes a guest appearance.

I'll put it this way. I'd like for Tail and Knuckles to be playable (as in, I wouldn't complain) but even if it's just sonic I'd be fine.

Even though it was stated that there would only be 3 3rd party characters, I wouldn't hold my breath. Remember that they also said it would come out in america on december 3rd, so stuff can change. I know its suposed to be Nintendo's top stars fighting, but some extra guest stars wouldnt hurt the series (like some people are acting). In fact, I know a few people who are going to try it just because it has Snake and Sonic.
