You would think of this as a theological concept, because it would be impossible. But if talking in terms of energy, probably 4 lightbulbs would provide the energy needed for a machine to screw in said lightbulb. But this machine has to be programmed by an intelligent sentient being. Maybe the parts of the machine were magnetic, and the terrestrial winds of life bring together these magnetic portions of the greatest coincidence of mankind. Eventually, the human race would wonder how it got there, and war would break out. All of mankind will be dead, and a new evolved race would become the rulers of the universe. There would be a light utopia shining on our very planet, which means, in reality, it takes no lightbulbs to screw in a lightbulb, because it can do it itself.

If someone invented a light bulb that could function as a finger, and a lightbulb that could light bulbs and spin itself, then 2.
Wait no. Just one. Make the light bulb that spins spin itself in.
I win.

or you could just think with portals

Portals are useless in this situation, unless you created
A) a light bulb that could think with portals
B) a light socket and matching light bulb EXACTLY large enough to fit a portal. No larger no smaller
C) a light bulb that would turn the large light bulb through the portal so it is securely fastened
Therefore wasting time money and energy on light bulbs that doesn't need to be wasted.

Depends on if it's a boy lightbulb or a girl lightbulb.
