with arms by sides (for a spin jump like in SMW), and arms out for if Mario jumps in a Tweester.

Also, maybe mario jumping with his butt on fire (yeah that sounds mature) like he does in the 3D games, unless were making lava= instant death.

the only other thing I can think of is a shell surfing pose. There could be levels that require you to cross dangerous liquids (poison, lava, freezing water) on a koopa shell power up type item like in SM64.

I cant think of anything else we would need, unless theres a special situation (like the pulling animation for the boss.)

Before you go and do this, look at each of our sprites and use the colors from them and try to outline them the same.
