Peardian, in respons to what you said in the other topic, I'll get right on it.

I already know what the problem is. The frame where its facing back at an agle looks to much like the side pose, so I need to fix that first off.

Anti-aliasing is nice. :U

It's not really the style either. Keep trying though.

Armada, here is that example I mentioned:

I was pleasantly surprised at how little I had to actually do beyond antialiasing. I just made a small change to the beak shading and darken the feather palette to increase contrast and added tiny little feet, as well as shrinking the eye by one pixel.


With the exception of antialiasing, the other changes should be simple to make. If you need any help with antialiasing, let me know. :D


Also, plan on doing Flightless Goonie at any time? :3

Edit: I just made a boss and its name is Britz
He's a crazy creature that loves to play or trick things in his way.
Only way to hit him is to take off his hat and hit his head but everytime you do that he moves twice the speed and his suit slowly opens.

As you can this is just a whip and dint even added his arms and other stuff also I think the style is way off :|

I like Britz, but it's not in th style. It's also good to use more than the default Paint colors. Also, you need some practice with anti-aliasing.

Anywho, I thought I'd post my WIP Bandit.

Sorry but it's still not to par quality wise.

Try comparing it with the other sprites till it looks as good.

Edit- Done with the first version of Britz, after I am finish with all the Britz form I will try my best to make it the style.

Edit again- I made a new monster and his name is Spoink.
He can move his head up and down and can block mario path.
The second version of Spoink is him using his toung and moving his up and down but his third version haves spikes all over!
The last version is him and he can use his toung and have spikes so watch out and try not to get hit wink.gif

@Britz: I'm really not sure exactly what it is, but it's not very good quality-wise and not in style at all. Also, could you change the name to not sound like a nationality?

@Koopa: MR21 made a Koopa sprite (post it already, MR21 <_<), so if we are to have a Koopa Troopa sprite, it should at least have something in common with it, preferably its exact head.

@Fuzzbush: We should probably wait a bit further into production before we start spriting obscure enemies like that. Classic enemies are fine, but one time enemies might not fit into any of the worlds.
