Ok, so before I try to sprite anything else, what's the official rule on black outlines. It seems like half the sprites have them and half of them don't.

@Project_MK: I'm afraid that is strikingly similar if not incredibly similar to the official Super Mario World Monty Mole sprite. :X

@Pucifur: Nice. :D We should probably hold off on making tilesets until we have the worlds set in concrete, though. But keep working on that, as I'm sure we'll have at least one forest level. It doesn't have much of an outline, though...

@cubehead: I should probably repost Dex's tutorial. Yes, sprites have black/very very dark outlines, but with colored highlights.

I'm new here so I thought I would give it a go here is my goomba (the eye's are edited from mario in this style since I couldn't make custom eye's I like on it)

Sup. I hate you welcome you with disappointment... but we already have a Goomba, and yours isn't exactly in style. I'm sure many of us here would like to see more of your work though, so perhaps you can post more in the Arts Board later.

I'm working on a few bonuses. Things that might appear in the background of a toad house where you get items (like in SMB3).

Just thought it would be cool to have a cameo or two, and not a cameo where the character walks up and talks to you, but a really hard to notice one.

yay! i fixed the body angle thing and the facing over sholder problem all i need to add more contrast and make her smaller

but i'm finding it hard to make her smaller cuz when i do it squashes the pixels together making her it ugly

kk I got a problem here I was thinking that ShyBelly should be a Good guy/Semi Player but what part should he be in, because I think he should be a loner and try to get the treasure by himself but tricks and steal others pieces from other people like Mario bros or Wario bros.

You can't just make a character and expect for it to be playable or for us to change the story or anything.

Also, those sprites need a bit of work.

you didn't change her head's angle.. Looks like She's looking to the left.
The rest is good, well, for me.

Hmmm... along with what TH said, she's also to tall. She's taller than Waluigi in this sprite, but should be a little smaller.

Also, I noticed that her stomach goes out, while her chest goes in.

No, waluigi that is actually small.
here's what I mean.
I did some resizes with waluigi and quick edits with peach.
