Hmm...looks like Yoshbot got it down pretty good, I think I'm liking that more now. Bit more like how Wario's head is.

Also good job getting that Fire Luigi down, SMM. With your E. Gadd: I've shaded what can be, but it doesn't feel right due to how simplistic his head is. I would of posted it up already, but I'm trying to tweak it. A third note is I'm having trouble with Wario's walking: His legs are so short it's hard to get them to look right. but I'm still doing Wario.

I'd say the second one because it looks more like he's trying to fly. The first one is like he's trying to do star jumps.

Guys, I lost my USB. That had my saved Wario sprites on it. But I'm re-working on the family computer, and I'll be doing the frame step by step to make sure I'm doing this right.

Here's an early start of the first step. This isn't done at all body wise, I know that, but do the feet seem to be right? That's where it starts, you know.

Looks fine so far, but I'd remove the arms while working on the steps so you won't have to go back and edit them out.

The other frame I'm starting doesn't have arms yet for that very reason; I add them when I think it's starting to look okay. But it's thunderstorming here so I'll gonna get off for my safety. I'll pick this up later.

Sorry bout the double post but one more thing before bed here:

Wario's always been a jogger, so I started to give his arms that swing. What do you think of that idea?

EDIT: I'm pretty sure his risen foot needs to be widened a bit. And the lowered more on the ground too, for that matter.

I hate the skin colors this style has. They're good for faces with a lot of features, like Mario and Wario, but blank faces like Toad are difficult.
Eh. I guess it looks good anyway.

Ok, now I have E. Gadd shaded, somewhat.

I have to agree that trying to shade faces like this with this palette just feels weird...But I gave his glasses those circles in them, darkened the coat shadings, hair too, and added bottoms to the feet.
