Sounds like an attempt at countering LittleBigPlanet.

The problem of course being the need to program them with an actual language.

But maybe a few MFGGers could get some games on their.

Yes it's very interesting.

At first I thought this topic was going to be about the original Xbox, which has been able to play homebrew stuff for ages thanks to those programming wizz-kids.

I wouldn't mind trying this out, but the problem is that if you don't know C++/C/C#(Which I don't know btw), you're screwed. Also, iirc, it costs money to put it on the 360. Not too sure on that last part though.

It's C# and it does cost money (it's a year's subscription) although you can make PC games with it for free.
