And after actually playing the game for six at my weaboo, Jap-Wii own friend's house, I'm as unhyped as ever. I'll probably buy it anyway, just to justify the five bucks I spent to pre-order it a fraking year ago. -------------------- SO LONG, SUCKERS!

The gameplay is almost completly unchanged, and if anything has taken a step down from SSBM
There's still no true strategy to the game, and every match decendsquickly into button mashing, grabbing an item, using it, and continuing to button mash. Next to this, everything feels toned down form SSBM to tell the truth. Fighting is actually slower than melee. Though it seem hard to grasp, everything seems to flow much slower than it used to.

"Final Smashes" are basically a cheap 1-hit KO to for anyone who can use them correctly, and whenever one comes on screen it seems as if everyone drops what they're doing to break it first. They're completly unessisary, and are a HUGE distraction.

I'm sorry, maybe it's because I was never a fan of smash, but SSBB so far has turned out to be what I feared it would be- a fanservice fest. I'll still get it, but all it appears to be is melle with it's edges cut off, and given a new can of paint.
