When I saw how you unlock him in subspace Emmisary, it just made so much sense.

Spoilers:
The R.O.B you play as in sse is the commander in chief guy that floats around all the time with the bombs. When in the Halberd Ganondorf orders a million Robs to take out bombs and explode, and Rob is sad to see his buddies go, so he gets out from his wardrobe and tries to stop them, but can't.

people who don't know he's an aylbplea ccrtahera i don't believe would assume so by seeing him in the background of a stage
