Community Fangame Project Site, Good idea or not?

I think an actual showcase, that we could update and post info about the Fangame, would host well on an actual site other than MFGG's forum.
Post ideas and suggestions about your thoughts.
What I was thinking is:

- A sprite showcase section to show the sprites for the project.
- A main page, featuring updates about the project, engine releases, and new finished sprites.
- The storyline and plot with suggestion feature.
- Maybe a mini-forum or something? This whole site could be an MFGG-supported site, anyway.

I think it would be a great idea! Your ideas sound pretty good. A mini forum sounds good.
You know what site host you would use?

If it was a part of taloncrossing and linked to on the main site kinda like NCFC that'd be cool too

I think we need an area where we get a timeline down.

where what boss is met, where this happens, and so on.

Shouldn't the COMMUNITY fangame project be within the community?

It would be here, and there for organization and for others to see it who don't particurlarly go to the forums.

Off Topic- and I think my Pm is broken because I posted something to you Mario and al ot of other people but they never reply.

We don't want a forum first, but a real site, like MFGG's normal site.
But a forum to accompany it.

We had something like that, and right now it's dead, because we all are just sticking to the forums, myself included.

If you guys want to make a site, it's your prerogative, but I'm still sticking with the forums.

Whatever you do, don't make a separate forum. That will lead to splintering groups and ideas because something will inevitably be posted there and not here, or vice versa.

I think it's a good idea, but it should be broken into categories.

Programming

Sprites

(etc.)

And the main contributos (or anbody, after screening :U) can post an update on a main page.
