How come whenever I finish a sketch....

....and I think it looks great, but when I flip it horizontally, it looks like ****? To be more specific, I drew a picture of sonic today, I spent 10 minutes on it, and thought it looked great; unfortunately, when I flipped it, I now see that sonic seems to be tilted, one arm is bigger than the other, and the two pupils aren't even the same size! I've always had this problem ever since 9th grade and it's pretty much one of my most annoying quirks. How can I make a good sketch without having to flip it over to see its problems? :/

simple, only an asshole will come up to you, flip your picture and go IT LUKS BAD DIS WAY

if it looks fine at the angle you present it, there's no serious problem

i've never in my life seen anybody draw a picture that doesn't look awkward flipped horizontally

Instead of draw -> flip

do

flip -> draw
