As DaMario100 requested in a submission of mine, here goes. My first tutorial on anything, ever.

Your shading is brutal and lacks any depth of any kind.
The goomba itself is awkward and WAY too tall
The Eyes are about the only redeeming factor, and they aren't all that good
Your tutorial is Very poorly layed out
Your way of Selout is horrible, and not done properly at all..

And for the love of god don't use the imageshack link just copy the direct link and make it and use [img][/img] tags.

Nova spelled it out pretty well.
But your spriting skills aren't bad. Some shading effort would help loads.
