This should help us get more organized. As stated in the plot topic, we have eight worlds (I assume; it's standard, is it not?) and of them only a couple are restricted. This is the topic for discussing possible world themes and level ideas. I'll put up all the ideas n stuff up here, along with any concrete world themes we decide upon. Mario Bros.- World 1:
- World 2:
- World 3: {city sewers} (shared world)
- World 4:
- World 5: {Bowser's Castle area}
- World 6:
- World 7:
- World 8: {Ancient Temple} BOSS: Bowser
- World X: {the spirit's dimension} BOSS: ancient spirit
Wario Bros.- World 1:
- World 2:
- World 3: {city streets} (shared world)
- World 4:
- World 5: {Bowser's Castle area}
- World 6:
- World 7:
- World 8: {Ancient Temple} BOSS: Kamek
- World X: {the spirit's dimension} BOSS: ancient spirit
Now some notes. Each of the first seven worlds contains one piece of the amulet, but the team may not end up with said piece. At least one of the worlds should involve both teams running into each other, meaning they are either vying for the same piece, or manage to steal one of the other team's pieces. This happens in World 5, Bowser's Castle. The worlds the brothers share could probably be World 3, as it wouldn't be too close to the beginning, but not too close to the midpoint meeting at Bowser's Castle as to prove redundant. All other worlds are absolutely free. World Ideas- The first world for each team should probably be something simple, like a field or hillside, for getting players used to the game and such. Plus, it's tradition.
- A city world, with both above-ground and sewer-themed levels. This is an ideal chance for the teams to run into each other, seeing as how crowded and confusing it is. The amulet piece would be resting in the city museum, dug up from a nearby burial site indicated on the tablet. Some WarioWare characters would make cameos in the background.
- Volcanic Cave world under Bowser's Castle. The world would begin in the rocky lava-filled area outside of Bowser's Castle and slowly work its way underground through the magma chambers and up into Bowser's Castle, where the piece would be sitting in one of Koopa's treasure rooms. Only one of the Teams will make off with the piece. The team who doesn't get the piece will have their boss in the underground cave, while the team who receives the shard will fight something inside the castle. World 5.
- An ocean-themed world. Levels included would feature tropical beaches, seafloors, and boats/submarines.
- Jungle world. Would act as the world before the ancient temple, thus World 7. DK characters could cameo.
- Desert world. Would act as the world before the ancient temple, thus World 7, or as the outside of the ancient temple, thus being part of the World 8.
- Spooky world. Levels included would be haunted forests, graveyards, ghost houses, and a short trip through the spirit world. Boss would be in the basement of the haunted mansion.
- Melting Ice world. Levels would feature dripping water, floating ice chunks, and falling stalactites and ice chunks. Possible name could be "Shrinking Snowland".
- Old valley world. Would act as the first world for the Mario Bros. Would be similar to grasslands, but with rocky/grassy walls in the background with cave entrances. Archeological dig sites scattered around. Would include the digsite levels mentioned below. Could have a sunset atmosphere. Boss would be Petey Piranha. Possible name could be "Ancient Valley".
- Old canyon world. Would act as the first world for the Wario Bros. Starts off with a basic grassland level and a cave/mineshaft level, then proceeds into the canyon. The canyon itself would be bottomless and have humoungous fossils. Again, could have a sunset atmosphere.
- Space world. The Wario Bros. steal Dr. Crygor's rocket to fly to the stars. The boss could be Tatanga, angry at Wario for ditching him after Super Mario Land 2.
- Deap-sea pirate world. The team must recover the stolen treasure from a haunted pirate ship that crashed on some rocks off the coast of a port town. Enemies would be ghostly remains of the pirate crew and sea creatures. Boss would involve the ghostly pirate captain.
Level Ideas- City streets level. The Wario Bros. would travel through the streets of the city, hopping on cars and fire escapes. Level could end with a mini-boss confrontation against Shoot, the Basketball Bunny.
- Haunted Mansion level. One of several ghost house levels. A phantom butler named Stickswell would hover around the Bros. and pick up any filthy coins or mushrooms or other rubbish that they leave on the floor or knock out of blocks and other such hooliganry.
- Retro level. Classic 8-bit tiles and enemies abound. Unsure as to how exactly this will be implemented. Could be through a warp pipe somewhere.
- Theme park level, where you could ride the ferris wheel like up to a different part of the level and on the way ruining and destroying the theme park.
- Space level, with SMG elements and enemies. Not sure how it would fit, though.
- Level inside a giant sea monster.
- Castle wall level, with sections of the wall extending out towards the viewer past the foreground.
- Digsite level in the first world. Would have deep trenches and wood scaffolding. Monty Moles would be abundant.
- Digiste cave level. Would follow just after the digsite level. Could be filled with occasional artifacts. Lots of Buzzy Beetles and Swoopers. Exit leaves to outside again. Might be good towards the middle or latter half of the world.

Seeing how you put it, world 7 should be desert.
World 2 Toad town?
World one... plains. Or forest. World 4 should be the place with darkness and the haunted mansion.
World six "Deep valley" Which is very sky, mountainy type stuff.
Letter worlds, like A, B, and C, like after you defeat the spirit thingey, wario bros don't get treasure. bowser kidnaps the princess (classical) and there is a reward set out. Mario Bros go for saving princess, wario bros go for reward. They go through extra worlds which they save the princess, and wario bros finally get treasure?
Anyways, I gotta go to bed. 'Night!
