So I got the Rock Band bundle for PS3,, and then threw away the game disc.

Madam Ki: Eww, I'm not using a USB Mic, that thing is a piece of crap compared to a real mic, especially one I can feed through my mixer.

But as for the drum kit, basically that. I have methods of converting it to an audio controller I can control and use in FL Studio for beats in my songs, humanizing the drums even further.

No, because the drum kit acts as a game controller, it doesn't have any MIDI capabilities what-so-ever, which is why I'm using a program to convert the game controller buttons to keyboard buttons from which I can use to play the different sounds in FL Studio.

I mean, I could re-route it to be a MIDI controller, but that's way too much hassle, and would prove to be more work than what I'm already doing.

Also, this is proving to be temporary for me until I get a real MIDI electric drumkit, which can send varying amount of variables, like velocity, panning, etc etc.

Essentially. Hell, you could link a VST instrument to it, or even a bunch of samples, and then group them all as a layer and distribute them to separate notes and do it that way.

I'm doing it the latter way, plus using a controller formula on FL Studio to randomize the velocity to even further FURTHER humanize the drumkits. It pays to be a programmer and a musician.
